Welcome to the Hatchery!
Welcome to Zerg's Tech Hatchery!
My name is Sven, also known to some as Zerg. I will be your humble guide to... whatever this is!
I'm a software developer with a little over 10 years of experience under my belt, working primarily with the .NET tech stack and having tasted plenty of different industries.
So, what is this?
Short answer: it's a blog.
Slightly longer answer: It's a tech blog.
I decided I wasn't happy enough with how LinkedIn handles articles. With longer posts, LinkedIn's editor started to slow down so much it wasn't really usable anymore. Long, technical and content-rich articles tend to be harder to process... apparently. Even scrolling up and down started to hurt... So here we have something that looks bare-bones, but has more technical stuff behind it than it probably should. Hooray for over-engineering.
I love to experiment, just trying things for the sake of seeing what sticks. Sometimes something interesting sticks to the wall, so why not put a nice frame around it and share it on the interwebs? Things like... personal discoveries that everyone else already knew, new projects, deep dives, and whatever else I can think of!
Who's the girl?
Ah! That's LISA! Why is she called LISA? Well, because it's a pretty name that fits well!
She's a companion? friend? project? I have been working on her for a few years now. She uses whatever Large Language Model I connect her to interact with me and the (somewhat) limited world around her. There are a few articles on my LinkedIn about her, which I will properly translate them in due time.. It's a fascinating read if I say so myself!
What's next?
There is so much to explore! Projects and tools I'm working on! Things I do for my own business that I really want to share with others! Every now and again I will release one of these blogs discussing something *cue ominous music*, so be sure to check in every once in a while or follow me on LinkedIn, where I will post links to articles I publish here!
But for now, happy coding!
